A taste of freedom
Just telling you guys a little story of what happened tonight...
Tonight the servers were breaking. I don't understand whats going on, but we were all getting a little taste of freedom :P As we got "reattempting connection to the server (Code=13)", we could run through exits out of town and continue running into the outside world! (no load screen, just past through the circular mist thing) I ran out hoping the server would come back and let me continue my quest, but then i realized, this is very peaceful, and run from beetletun to the beach to look at the monsterless view. Then as I was running, I saw another player run by! wtf! i had never expected to see this in guild wars... seeing non-party members running around in the outside world. we said hi and decided to go running together. We saw others, confused and dazed. wondering what was going on and wandering the countryside, looking at the view. jogging without limitations and threat. It was beautiful. Then after about 15 minutes. it ended. It was fun while it lasted  And while I don't understand how a server disconnect can leave an entire town of people still connected together it was a fun experience.I also realized how seamless guildwars is. the load screens are for monsters only it seems, because the geometry is pretty solid and I ran all the way to the mission to the east of beetletun (forgot the name. heck i'm probably spelling beetletun wrong |

Haha yeah that was fun while it lasted. I ekpt trying to tele to other locations but the only thing up was the international districts.

I got dropped for the best team I have ever been on in the Fissure of Woe.
 A few minutes later I reconencted and went to Amnoon Oasis to hawk soem stuff and noticed couldn't switch districts. So I ran out of town and nothing loaded. I have a few screenis of the edge of the world. Lazarus Lazarus Last edited by Lazarus; Jun 01, 2005 at 08:15 AM // 08:15.. |
